Using Lumen

Lumen is a reading light and focus timer for compatible Macs. You must use the app lawfully and keep your Google account secure. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account.

One-time purchase

Lumen Premium is sold as a one-time purchase. A successful payment grants one personal entitlement to the Google account used at checkout. It is not a subscription and does not renew automatically.

Payment processing, receipts, refunds, and chargebacks are handled through the payment method you choose: Lemon Squeezy or PayOS. Their checkout terms may also apply.

Two-device limit

One account may have up to two active Mac devices at the same time. You can revoke an old device to make room for another. Sharing an account to bypass this limit is not allowed.

License

After purchase, Lumen gives you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the app on your active devices. You may not resell, sublicense, rent, reverse engineer, or redistribute Lumen except where applicable law permits it.

Updates and availability

We may improve, change, or discontinue parts of the website or app. Compatibility and feature details can change as macOS changes. We will make reasonable efforts to keep purchased access working for supported versions.

Refunds and termination

Refund requests are handled according to the payment provider's policy and applicable consumer law. We may suspend or revoke access when a payment is refunded, reversed, fraudulent, or connected to misuse of the service.

Disclaimer

Lumen is provided on an available basis. It is not medical, safety, or emergency lighting. You should keep normal room lighting available when your activity requires it and follow Apple's guidance for your Mac.
